With over 40 years of insurance experience, Angie Hughes founded Iron & Oak Insurance on a simple belief: the best insurance relationships start with understanding what someone has built — and what they stand to lose.
Iron & Oak isn't about selling policies. It's about building relationships with the business owners, property investors and families who have spent years — sometimes a lifetime — building something worth protecting.
Licensed across Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas, Angie works with clients throughout Memphis and the Mid-South who value experience, accessibility and a genuine relationship with their insurance advisor.
Marix Hughes
Principal • 20+ Years of Experience
Marix Hughes brings more than 20 years of insurance experience to Iron & Oak as a principal of the agency. He built his career on a straightforward conviction: insurance should be personal, and clients deserve an advisor who genuinely understands what they've worked to build.
As an owner and operator, Marix takes a hands-on approach with every client he serves. He believes the best coverage comes from listening first — getting to know a business, a property or a family before ever talking about a policy — so that the protection he recommends actually fits the risk in front of him.
